One day, while playtesting another friends map for Super Smash Bones (A stock based fighting gamemode for BONELAB: Fusion, similar to Super Smash Brothers) I came up with the idea of having players fight in a giant Tetris matrix. This proved to be an extremely fun yet challenging thing to get right. Originally it was all set on one platform, but this was unbalanced and while it was fun, it would quickly prove to be more frustrating than it was worth, so I added a few more platforms, plus a safe space where you could land if you were jumping between platforms. I also had the idea of the spectator lounge being an arcade, and the camera of the match being on the arcade machines. This arcade served as a neat little hangout area for people to chill in if rounds took too long. All in all, it was a great experience and a fun little experiment to do.

Here is a trailer for the map I made a little early into it's development. There a various differences here compared to the final product, and to be honest I probably should've waited for the majority of the art to be solidified before making something like this, but I think I did pretty good with it overall. The sheer unpredictability of the map formation made this incredibly fun and chaotic, and I really enjoyed getting the ability to create something like this.
